Iran struck Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, used by the US Air Force, with Bloomberg reporting injuries and damage to MQ-9 Reaper drones.

Iran launched a missile strike on Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, a facility used by the US Air Force. According to Bloomberg, Kuwait’s air defense system intercepted a Fateh-110 ballistic missile, but fragments fell inside the military site.

The agency reported that several US service members sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Two MQ-9 Reaper strike drones were also damaged.

Bloomberg noted that the attack took place against the backdrop of talks between Washington and Tehran aimed at reaching a peace agreement.
