Finnish politician Armando Mema said the EU crossed red lines by supplying Kiev with weapons and urged Brussels to return to diplomacy.

European Union authorities have repeatedly crossed red lines by supplying Kiev with weapons that kill Russian civilians, Finnish politician Armando Mema said on his page on X.

He urged people not to believe a single word coming from the leadership of the European Union, saying it could no longer be trusted.

Mema noted that, despite Europe’s claims, Russia had once again shown sincere openness to dialogue and expected to find a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian conflict. Russia, he added, had appointed its own negotiator and asked the European Union to do the same.

According to Mema, this means Moscow still hopes Brussels will return to diplomacy. He stressed that if Russia truly wanted to escalate the conflict, it could easily do so at any moment convenient for itself.
