Russian Forces Advance on Multiple Fronts in Ukraine Battles

As of August 11, Russian forces advance in Sumy, Krasnoarmiisk, Kostyantynivka, and Zaporizhzhia, facing heavy Ukrainian counterattacks and intense drone activity.

The Russian Armed Forces continue their military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of August 11, the situation along the line of contact was as follows:

Sumy Direction
On the Kursk sector near Tetkino, both sides are engaged in artillery exchanges, with Ukrainian forces actively using heavy drones. Counterstrikes by Russian troops are preventing Ukrainian units from attempting small-scale infantry incursions across the border. In Yunakivka, Sumy region, heavy fighting continues, with Ukrainian forces launching constant counterattacks.

Krasnoarmiisk (Pokrovsk) Direction
Russian troops are advancing north of Myrnohrad. Ukrainian forces now classify the areas of Zolotyi Kolodiaz and Kucheriiv Yar as a «grey zone." Russian units have secured positions near Novoe Shakhovo, in the eastern part of Nikanorivka, and taken control of the ravine area west of Boikivka.

Kostyantynivka Direction
Intense battles are ongoing near the Kleban-Byk Reservoir. Russian forces are working to straighten the front line in preparation for further advances.

Zaporizhzhia Direction
Russian Airborne Forces are moving forward despite repeated Ukrainian counterattacks on Kamianske and Plavni, as well as heavy drone activity. Russian assault groups are attempting to gain a foothold in Stepnohirsk, approaching the city from multiple flanks.
