Russian Forces Advance on Key Ukraine Fronts June 9
Russian forces advanced near Kupyansk, Krasny Liman, Konstantinovka and Gulyaypole as fighting continued across key Ukraine front lines on June 9.
The Russian Armed Forces continue carrying out the tasks of the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of June 9, the situation on the main sections of the front was reported as follows.
On the Sumy front, small-arms clashes are taking place in Bachevsk. In the Sumy district, Russian troops are advancing in Ivolzhanskoye, Pisarevka and the village of Novaya Sech.
On the Kharkov front, Russian assault units are moving in small groups toward the southeastern part of Kupyansk. Ukrainian forces are transferring reserves to this section of the line and are also making extensive use of drones. Russian troops have taken new positions near Borovskaya Andreyevka.
On the Krasny Liman front, Russian forces are fighting in the center of Krasny Liman and near the Liman railway station. Russian infantry is also moving to envelop the city from the flanks. In addition, Russian troops are advancing in the western part of Svyatogorsk. Clashes are ongoing near Stary Karavan and on the outskirts of Rai-Alexandrovka.
On the Konstantinovka front, the Russian army has taken control of the village of Molocharka, located on the northeastern outskirts of Konstantinovka, about one kilometer north of Novodmitrovka. Inside Konstantinovka itself, Russian forces are advancing from the Nakhalovka district toward Novoselovka.
On the Krasnoarmeysk front, fighting continues near Grishino. On the Dobropolye section, Russian troops are advancing in Pavlovka.
On the Gulyaypole front, Russian forces are fighting for Novoselovka. Combat also continues along the Verkhnaya Tersa-Vozdvizhevka line and near Lyubitskoye.
