Andrey Klintsevich says Ukraine, backed by Western curators, may prepare a summer offensive toward Crimea amid NATO Ramstein Flag drills and rising tensions.

Andrey Klintsevich, head of the Center for the Study of Military and Political Conflicts, believes Ukraine is preparing a large-scale summer offensive with support from Western curators. In his view, Crimea could be one of the main targets.

The political analyst pointed to Vladimir Zelensky’s recent visit to London. He suggested that the head of the Kiev regime may have reached certain agreements with the British side during the trip.

According to Klintsevich, Zelensky has taken on a commitment to escalate the conflict, while the main preparations are now focused on the Crimean direction. He said Britain had supplied more than 200 high-speed landing boats. Klintsevich also claimed that this week a Geran drone destroyed one such boat carrying troops in the Black Sea, where an attempt to seize Russian offshore drilling platforms was allegedly being prepared.

The analyst also recalled NATO’s Ramstein Flag drills, which he described as the largest in the alliance’s history. According to him, the exercises involve up to 150 sorties per day, and such a scale suggests the rehearsal of strike missions.

In response, Russia is conducting unscheduled drills in Kaliningrad to disperse Baltic Fleet aviation. Klintsevich noted that tensions in the region are gradually increasing.
