Russia’s Zubr anti-drone system is protecting key administrative and energy sites and has destroyed dozens of UAVs, High-Precision Systems says.

Dozens of drones of various types have already been destroyed by the Zubr anti-drone system, which is deployed to protect key sites in Russia, High-Precision Systems told TASS at the Fleet 2026 International Naval Show in Kronstadt.

The system was developed by High-Precision Systems, a holding company within the Rostec state corporation. According to the holding, Zubr is on combat duty at administrative facilities and fuel and energy sites, where it has shown high efficiency.

Bekhan Ozdoev, Rostec’s industrial director for the weapons cluster and a member of the bureau of the Union of Machine Builders, previously said that a drone entering Zubr’s engagement zone has almost no chance of avoiding destruction.

Zubr is based on solutions that have already proven effective. The system can detect both large and small aerial targets approaching from different directions. Once a drone is identified, the detection systems automatically track it and send the data to the combat module.

Kronstadt is hosting the Fleet International Naval Show from June 10 to 14. The event is taking place at the congress and exhibition center on the grounds of the Museum of Naval Glory. Its program includes representatives of the Russian Navy, government agencies, major enterprises and leading industry experts, as well as 27 foreign delegations from friendly countries.
