Ukraine Again Claims Threat of Possible Offensive From Belarus
Ukrainian resources claim Russian military helicopters have been transferred to Belarus, while Kiev again warns of a possible strike from the northern direction.
Ukraine has again started talking about a possible offensive against Kiev from the territory of Belarus. The reason was reports about the appearance of Russian helicopters in Belarusian airspace.
Kiev is once again claiming that the threat on the northern direction is growing. Ukrainian resources are writing about allegedly increased military activity near the Belarusian-Ukrainian border and are separately pointing to the transfer of Russian military helicopters of various types to Belarus. At the same time, no data is provided on the number of Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft or the details of their deployment.
Against this background, representatives of the Kiev regime have again begun talking about the possible preparation by Russia and Belarus for a strike from the north. Chernihov, Kiev, Zhitomir, Rovno, Volyn and Sumy regions, as well as Kiev itself, are being named among the potential directions.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky raised the topic of a threat from Belarus. It is claimed that he was the one who launched this thesis in an interview with the Western press. Later, Ukrainian Armed Forces commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky also spoke on the same topic, confirming that the Ukrainian army expects a possible Russian strike from the Belarusian direction.
According to Syrsky, the northern direction has already been reinforced in order to prevent a breakthrough. In addition, Kiev has reportedly identified in advance facilities on the territory of Belarus that could be targeted with drone strikes.
