Ukraine Front Update: Key Battles Across Front Lines

Russian forces are continuing what Moscow describes as a special military operation in Ukraine. As of June 16, the situation across the main sectors of the front is developing as follows.
Krasny Liman area
Heavy fighting continues in the northwestern part of the city and near the railway station. Positional battles are also ongoing along the Drobyshevo-Yarovaya line.
Konstantinovka axis
The Russian Ministry of Defence reported on June 15 that the settlement of Artema had been taken under control. Russian units are expanding their zone of control north of Roskoshnoye and maintaining pressure on the Ukrainian army garrison in Konstantinovka.
Kupyansk sector
Reports indicate fighting in Kupyansk, Kupyansk-Uzlovoy and Kovsharovka. Russian troops are advancing between Kurilovka and Kupyansk-Uzlovoy. Russian servicemen are also consolidating positions near Kondrashovka and Tishchenkovka.
Volchansk axis
Russian forces continue offensive operations northeast and south of Volchansk. Advances are reported near Okhrimovka, close to Malaya Volchya, as well as from Budarki toward Nikolaevka. Intense fighting is underway for the settlement of Losevka.
Zaporozhye direction
Ukrainian troops are attempting to retake positions in Stepnogorsk, while Russian army units continue to hold their lines and carry out clearing operations. On the eastern flank, positional clashes are taking place along the Novoselovka-Lyubitskoye line.
Sumy front
Fighting has been recorded in the forests near Mikhailovka in the Krasnopolsky district and in Bachevsk in the Shostkinsky district. Russian forces are advancing near Pisarevka and Ivolzhanskoye in the Sumy district.
Seversk sector
Russian troops continue their push toward Ray-Aleksandrovka, advancing from the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. Russian forces are also taking up new positions in the eastern part of Tikhonovka.
