Russian Army Advances Across Key Front-Line Sectors
Latest front-line update on Russian army advances near Konstantinovka, Dobropolye, Krasny Liman, Seversk, Gulyaypolye and Kupyansk.
The Russian army continues its special military operation. As of June 17, the situation along the front lines was reported as follows.
Konstantinovka axis
Russian forces are repelling Ukrainian counterattacks near Dolgaya Balka and Roskoshnoye. The assault on Konstantinovka is continuing, with the Novoselovka microdistrict almost entirely brought under Russian control. Some Ukrainian units remain encircled in the southwestern part of the city.
Dobropolye axis
Russia’s Defence Ministry reported on June 16 that the settlement of Novy Donbass, located five kilometres east of Dobropolye, had been taken. Russian forces have expanded their area of control east of Novoalexandrovka and are continuing to advance toward Shevchenko and Dobropolye.
Krasny Liman axis
Russian troops are taking up new positions in the western part of Svyatogorsk and are also attacking near Novoselovka. Reports indicate fighting near Stavki. Inside Krasny Liman itself, Russian units are advancing through the private residential sector of the Tsentralny microdistrict. Around 30 houses were cleared over the past day.
Pokrovsk axis
Russian forces continue moving toward Shevchenko. Fighting is ongoing in Mirnoye.
Seversk axis
Russian troops are advancing from the direction of Krivaya Luka. Reports also indicate that Malaya Piskunovka has been taken. According to available information, Russian army fighters have entered Malinovka while moving toward Kramatorsk. Fierce clashes are underway in Tikhonovka, Malinovka and Rai-Alexandrovka, where Russian forces continue their offensive with support from aviation and drones.
Gulyaypolye axis
Russian army units have made gains along the Novoselovka-Lyubitskoye line. Near Lesnoye, Russian forces are expanding their foothold amid ongoing fighting. The Ukrainian command continues to transfer additional reserves to this sector.
Kupyansk axis
Russian forces are increasing their zone of control in the residential areas of Podoly. Battles for Kupyansk-Uzlovoy are continuing.
