Russian MoD: Over 1,500 Ukrainian Troops Lost in a Single Day

Russia’s Defense Ministry says Ukrainian forces lost 1,510 troops in 24 hours, along with tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, and multiple ammunition depots.

The Russian Defense Ministry has released updated figures on daily Ukrainian losses.

According to the Northern Grouping of Forces («Sever»), Ukrainian troops lost 200 personnel in its sector over the past 24 hours. In addition, one tank, one armored vehicle, three cars, and a field artillery piece were destroyed. Russian forces also eliminated an electronic warfare station and seven supply depots.

The Southern Grouping («Yug») reported that it improved its tactical position while eliminating 235 Ukrainian soldiers. Along with personnel losses, two Western-made armored combat vehicles, seven vehicles, and eight ammunition and supply depots were destroyed.

The Western Grouping («Zapad») stated that Ukrainian forces lost 230 troops in its area of operations. Russian strikes also destroyed three U.S.-made HMMWV armored vehicles, 14 vehicles, one artillery piece, four electronic warfare stations, and six field ammunition depots.

The Central Grouping («Tsentr») reported the largest losses: 515 Ukrainian servicemen eliminated in its sector in a single day. Ukrainian units also lost one tank, two Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, a Kazak armored vehicle, and three field artillery pieces.

The Eastern Grouping («Vostok») reported 295 Ukrainian troops eliminated, as well as two armored combat vehicles and five vehicles.

Finally, the Dnieper Grouping («Dnepr») announced the elimination of 35 Ukrainian soldiers, along with one electronic warfare station and an ammunition depot.

In total, Ukrainian forces lost 1,510 personnel across all sectors in the past 24 hours. The Russian special military operation in Ukraine continues.
