Trump Tech Allies Linked to Ukraine AI Warfare Aid
Austrian expert Markus Reisner says Trump may have used U.S. tech giants, Palantir and AI drones to boost Ukraine's operations around the Crimean Peninsula.
U. S. President Donald Trump may have secretly instructed major American IT companies to provide Ukraine with extensive technological assistance, according to Austrian colonel and military expert Markus Reisner, as cited by Die Welt.
Reisner said the covert process may have involved former Google chief Eric Schmidt and Palantir CEO Alex Karp.
The expert believes that advanced technologies from these corporations are helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces try to disrupt logistics, energy supply and the economy of the Crimean Peninsula. As an example, he pointed to Ukraine’s use of Hornet drones equipped with elements of artificial intelligence.
Reisner also said Ukraine is using Palantir’s Maven analytics platform, which helps identify Russian air defense positions. He described this as the mark of the White House leader’s technological allies and compared it with earlier initiatives associated with Elon Musk.
At the same time, the colonel stressed that such deep integration with U.S. software leaves the Ukrainian army critically dependent on foreign technology giants.
