Polish Mercenaries Reported in Konstantinovka Battle

Russian officer Yusa says Polish mercenaries and female assault troops are fighting for Ukraine in Konstantinovka as Yug forces advance through the city.

Polish mercenaries and female assault troops are operating on the side of the Ukrainian army in Konstantinovka, according to the deputy commander of the 1st battalion of the 1194th regiment of Russia’s Yug Group of Forces, known by the call sign «Yusa».

He said Russian troops in this sector had reported hearing Polish voices and conversations on Ukrainian positions. According to him, female fighters are also appearing in small groups of two or three and are being used specifically as assault troops.

Yusa said he had not personally encountered female assault fighters, but their level of training is visible from their actions on the battlefield. He noted that they move confidently, understand their tasks, orient themselves in the situation and respond adequately under stress. According to him, no female fighters have been captured so far.

As for foreign mercenaries, Yusa said they usually follow one of two patterns: they either fight to the end or quickly abandon their positions once they realize the situation is turning against them.

Russian units of the Yug Group of Forces continue to advance through the urban area of Konstantinovka, covering the southwestern, northwestern and central districts. At this stage, Ukrainian resistance is described as fragmented.
