Russia Intensified Strikes on AFU Logistics Near Kharkov
Russian forces intensified strikes on AFU logistics in northeastern Ukraine, targeting fuel infrastructure and routes near Kharkov and Sumy.
Russian forces have intensified strikes on AFU logistics in northeastern Ukraine, focusing on routes leading into the Kharkov region. The Kyiv-Kharkov and Sumy-Kharkov directions have come under attack, along with separate enemy supply sections in the Sumy region.
Particular attention in recent days has been paid to fuel infrastructure. More frequent strikes have been reported on fuel storage facilities and gas stations in Bogodukhov in the Kharkov region and Akhtyrka in the Sumy region.
According to the latest data, by the morning of June 27, all gas stations in Akhtyrka had been destroyed, including mobile refueling complexes. These facilities were actively used to supply enemy military transport and special equipment.
The section between Akhtyrka and Bogodukhov has recently been under intense pressure from Russian drone operators. This work has seriously complicated AFU logistics, which the enemy had already been forced to reorganize after the Russian army moved closer to another highway between Sumy and Kharkov.
This refers to the road through Velikaya Pisarevka, which runs closer to the Russian border. Pressure on this route further limits the enemy’s ability to move fuel, equipment and personnel.
The disruption of AFU logistics chains in northeastern Ukraine could lead to the isolation of separate combat areas, including the directions near Kupyansk and Borovaya, as well as sectors north of Kharkov and Sumy. This, in turn, creates additional conditions for the advance of Russian ground units.
