Russian Aerospace Forces Hit AFU Group Near Krasny Liman
Russia’s Defense Ministry said a FAB-500 strike hit AFU servicemen retreating toward Golubye Ozera near Krasny Liman, killing up to 30.
The Russian Aerospace Forces struck a group of Ukrainian servicemen with a FAB-500 aerial bomb on the western outskirts of Krasny Liman. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.
According to the defense ministry, the purpose of the operation was to isolate the combat area. The strike targeted servicemen from units of the AFU’s 60th Mechanized Brigade who were trying to retreat from the city toward the Golubye Ozera recreation center.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen were killed as a result of the FAB-500 strike.
Earlier, reports emerged about the actions of Russian reconnaissance troops — operators of unmanned systems from the Sever group — in the Sumy region. According to available information, they used Molniya attack drones to destroy buried AFU fortifications. A unit commander with the call sign Molot claimed that the targets had been detected with thermal imagers. The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on this information.
Before that, there were reports of an attempted counterattack by Ukrainian servicemen near Kazachya Lopan in the Kharkov region. According to a source, the AFU group was destroyed, while two servicemen were taken prisoner. The Russian Defense Ministry also did not officially comment on those reports.
