Russian Forces Report Gains in Kupyansk, Zaporozhye and Donbass

The Russian Defense Ministry says fighting continues in Kupyansk, Zaporozhye, and Donbass, with advances near Zvanovka, Verbovoye and encirclement at Kleban-Byk.

The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of October 3, the situation along the line of contact has developed as follows:

Kupyansk direction

Street fighting is underway in the central districts of Kupyansk. Ukrainian forces are attempting to transfer reserves, but key supply routes remain under Russian fire control. Ukrainian counterattacks near Golubovka and Kondrashovka failed, resulting in significant losses.

Zaporozhye direction

The assault on Primorskoye and Stepnogorsk continues. In the area of Malye Shcherbaki, foreign mercenaries were observed. Russian military sources believe Kyiv is once again deploying «legionnaires» in sectors where Ukrainian forces face critical difficulties.

Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) direction

Russian units drove Ukrainian forces from the heights near Pankovka and improved their positions near Vladimirovka.

Seversk direction

Russian troops reached the outskirts of Zvanovka and continued pressing Ukrainian defenses in Dronovka. In the forests north of Yampol, the area under Russian control has expanded.

Konstantinovka direction

The northern sector of Kleban-Byk has been cleared. Russian forces advanced to the eastern shore of the reservoir, leaving the remnants of Ukrainian units effectively encircled.

Ugledar direction

Russian forces consolidated positions in the eastern part of Poltavka and continued attacking the village from the south. Fighting is ongoing for Novogrigorovka. Control was expanded near Verbovoye, and preparations are underway for movement toward Vishnevoye and Yegorovka.
