Russian Forces Take Bogodarovka in Dnepropetrovsk Region
Russia’s Defense Ministry said Vostok forces took Bogodarovka in the Dnepropetrovsk region, opening a path for further advances near Aleksandrovka.
Units of Russia’s Vostok group of forces have taken the settlement of Bogodarovka in the Dnepropetrovsk region, pushing Ukrainian formations out of their positions on the right bank of the Gaichur River, according to the Russian Defense Ministry’s June 29 report on the special military operation.
The ministry said Vostok units advanced deeper into Ukrainian defenses and captured Bogodarovka.
According to the report, Russian forces destroyed more than a platoon of Ukrainian personnel in fighting near the village. The losses also included three armored combat vehicles, seven vehicles and more than 60 Baba Yaga heavy hexacopters.
The Defense Ministry said the newly captured line creates opportunities for further Russian movement in the Dnepropetrovsk region and sets conditions for offensive action near Aleksandrovka.
The ministry also reported that assault units of Russia’s Yug group of forces continue to advance in all directions. Russian troops are clearing the southwestern part of Konstantinovka of scattered Ukrainian groups.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said 96 percent of Konstantinovka was under Russian army control.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian losses across all sections of the line of contact amounted to roughly 1,550 troops.
