Overnight, Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 327 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian territory. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on Thursday.

According to the ministry, air defense crews on duty operated from 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on July 1 to 7:00 a.m. Moscow time on July 2. During that period, targets were destroyed over the Rostov, Kaluga, Astrakhan, Pskov, Volgograd, Oryol, Belgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, Novgorod, Kursk, Leningrad, Tula, Bryansk, Tambov and Voronezh regions, as well as over the Moscow region, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea and the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

The AFU continue daily attempts to attack facilities in Russian regions, but the overwhelming majority of targets are detected and destroyed by air defense crews.

In response, Russian troops carry out high-precision strikes on Ukrainian energy and logistics facilities, military-industrial enterprises, AFU facilities, as well as deployment sites of military equipment, Ukrainian army personnel and foreign mercenaries.
