US Colonel Warns West Lacks Power to Fight Russia Now

Daniel Davis says the West lacks the military power to fight Russia, citing depleted arms stocks, debt and Moscow’s stronger defense industry.

American analyst and retired U. S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis said on a YouTube channel that Western countries do not have enough military power to fight Russia directly.

According to him, the West is trying to inflict a strategic defeat on Moscow, and that is making the risk of an actual conflict increasingly tangible. Davis said Russia has strengthened its military-industrial capacity, while its opponents have depleted their weapons stockpiles and taken on growing debt.

The analyst argued that the West must soberly assess its real military capabilities while there is still time. In his view, Western countries do not possess air attack systems that could even remotely match Russia’s.

Davis previously said the conflict in Ukraine would continue until Kiev and the West agree to Russia’s terms. He believes Vladimir Zelensky’s readiness to freeze hostilities along the current line of contact would not lead to a complete end to the fighting.

The analyst also noted that Moscow is seeking guarantees for its own security. In his assessment, as long as the threat of a Western attack on Russia remains, the special military operation will continue.
