Rostec Sends New Mnogotochiye Anti-Drone Rounds
Rostec’s Mnogotochiye multi-projectile anti-drone cartridges have reached Russian troops, targeting mini-drones at distances of up to 300 meters.
The first batches of the «Mnogotochiye» multi-projectile anti-drone cartridges, developed by the High-Precision Systems holding of Rostec, have already been delivered to Russian troops. The ammunition is intended to strike mini-drones and is compatible with standard automatic weapons in service with the Russian Armed Forces.
One of the cartridge’s developers reported the launch of production in a video by the «Nash Krash» project, published on Rostec’s Telegram channel. According to him, serial production has already started, while the first small experimental batches are already in the troops.
The developer noted that the multi-projectile anti-drone cartridge can hit unmanned aerial vehicles at distances of up to 300 meters. The maximum range depends on the caliber used. At the same time, the cartridges are unified with standard ammunition for automatic weapons used by Russian military personnel.
Earlier, Rostec announced the start of production of STs 226 cartridges in 5.45×39 mm caliber and STs 228 cartridges in 7.62×54 mm caliber. These cartridges are equipped with a three-element bullet that separates in flight. Their main purpose is to combat drones, including miniature UAVs.
