Russia Destroys Two Ukrainian MiG-29 Jets at Airfield
Russia’s Defense Ministry said two Ukrainian MiG-29 jets were destroyed at an airfield, while 3,871 drones and multiple missiles were shot down.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported the results of strikes and air defense operations over the past week. According to the ministry, Russian servicemen destroyed two MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force at an airfield. The strike was carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles operated by Russian Armed Forces troop groupings.
Over the same period, Russian forces also shot down a large number of Ukrainian aerial attack assets. The list of destroyed targets included 72 guided aerial bombs, one long-range operational-tactical missile, three Flamingo cruise missiles and one HIMARS multiple launch rocket system projectile.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 3,871 AFU drones were also shot down during the week.
