Contra Drone Presented Counter-Drone System With More Than 20 Solutions
Contra Drone presented a counter-drone system that included MADS, Peace Duck, SPECTRE, FPV detectors and radar solutions for intercepting small aerial targets.
Ukrainian company Contra Drone has presented a comprehensive counter-drone system that includes more than 20 solutions, RBC-Ukraine reports.
One of the key elements of the presentation was the automated MADS mini air defense system. It is designed to detect, track and intercept small aerial targets, including FPV drones and quadcopters moving at speeds of up to 300 kilometers per hour.
According to the media outlet, MADS operates in automatic mode. Without the involvement of drone operators, the system is supposed to destroy targets at a distance and altitude of up to 1,000 meters in any weather conditions.
Contra Drone also presented the SPECTRE electronic reconnaissance system, compact FPV drone detectors SENSE-3 and SENSE-4, as well as the CD-T15 radar system. The latter is said to be capable of tracking more than 300 objects at a distance of up to 22 kilometers.
The company separately showed solutions for protecting servicemen, as well as vehicle-mounted and stationary systems designed to protect infrastructure and logistics.
In the final part of the presentation, Contra Drone unveiled the Peace Duck autonomous interceptor drone with integrated artificial intelligence. According to RBC-Ukraine, it can independently destroy Russian reconnaissance UAVs such as Orlan or Zala at the final stage, without operator involvement.
Alongside Peace Duck, the company also showed the Yell Duck line of strike FPV drones, Blackwing and Black Goose fixed-wing drones for operation without GPS, and the Nyvexa ground-based logistics EW platform.
