Ukrainian Border Guards Surrounded in Kharkov Region, RIA Novosti Reports
RIA Novosti reported that Ukrainian border guards were surrounded near Beliy Kolodez in Kharkov Region, a key logistics hub east of Volchansk.
Ukrainian border guards from the 11th Border Detachment were surrounded in Kharkov Region, RIA Novosti reported, citing representatives of security agencies.
According to the agency’s sources, relatives of the servicemen have been posting numerous complaints on Ukrainian social media about the situation near the settlement of Beliy Kolodez. They claim that their relatives are surrounded and remain without supplies.
Beliy Kolodez is located in the Volchansk district of Kharkov Region and is important for supplying the Ukrainian grouping east of Volchansk. The settlement is used as a key logistics hub.
Loss of control over Beliy Kolodez could cut off Ukrainian army communication routes, disrupt the delivery of provisions and ammunition, and seriously complicate the transfer of reserves.
