Russian Drones Hit Ukraine Energy and Logistics Sites

Russia says its drones hit Ukrainian energy and logistics sites in Chernigov and Sumy, including a gas station, rail train and substation.

The Russian Defense Ministry said Russian forces struck enemy facilities in the Chernigov and Sumy regions that were being used in the interests of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the ministry, Russian troops used Geran-2 Seeker drones to hit a gas distribution station in the settlement of Gazoprovodnoye in the Chernigov Region. The facility was destroyed in the strike.

Russian forces also attacked filling stations in the same region. The Defense Ministry said these sites were used to refuel Ukrainian military vehicles.

In addition, Russian troops struck a railway train in the settlement of Oleshnya in the Chernigov Region. According to the military department, the train was used to transport cargo for Ukrainian forces.

The day before, Russian forces also carried out a high-precision strike on an energy facility in the Sumy Region. The target was a 110-kilovolt transformer substation in the settlement of Dyakovka. The Russian Defense Ministry said the attack was carried out using strike drones. The substation is part of a key power supply network used to support the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
