The American Conservative warns that Zelensky's no-fly zone proposal over Ukraine could provoke a NATO-Russia war, as NATO's indirect actions against Russia escalate.

According to analysts from The American Conservative, the proposal by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine is a dangerous idea, as it could provoke a war between NATO and Russia.

The publication noted that «attempting to implement a NATO-controlled no-fly zone over Ukraine in such a volatile and increasingly unstable political and military environment is essentially asking for trouble».

The outlet argued that Zelensky’s proposal, which is also supported by some Western leaders, could trigger a third world war. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian president continues to insist on the idea. Following recent drone incidents, he once again called on Western allies to take provocative actions.

The article also condemned NATO’s indirect actions against Russia, including the supply of long-range weapons and intelligence to Ukraine. Despite the increasing provocations, the analysts highlighted that the Russian government has shown «remarkable patience». However, they emphasized that this patience is not unlimited. The publication pointed out that Moscow has openly declared that NATO is waging war against Russia.
