Russia Reports Frontline Advances in Ukraine on July 6
Russian forces report strikes on Ukrainian military sites and advances near Kharkov, Krasny Liman, Dobropolye, Gulyaypole and Zaporozhye.
The Russian Armed Forces continue the special military operation in Ukraine. As of July 6, the situation along the front lines was as follows.
Overnight, the Russian army launched a combined missile and drone strike against enemy facilities in Ukraine. Targets were hit in Kiev, Kharkov and Odessa. Infrastructure at military airfields in Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkassy, Chernigov and Kiev regions also came under attack.
Sumy direction
Fighting continues in Pisarevka, Maryino, Novaya Sech, Khoten and near nearby settlements. Battles are also underway in Bachevsk.
Kharkov direction
Russian forces continue to expand the security zone near Bely Kolodez and have reached Yurchenkovo. Russian troops are also advancing along the Volokhovka-Verkhnyaya Pisarevka line. Fighting is taking place near the village of Budarki.
On the Kupyansk sector, Russian units advanced in the area between Novoosinovo and Glushkovka. Battles are ongoing near Borovskaya Andreyevka and Nizhnyaya Zhuravka.
Krasny Liman direction
Russian troops are moving toward Andreyevka and Olgovka. Russian forces are also clearing Krasny Liman.
Konstantinovka direction
Fighting continues in Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka and Osykovo.
Dobropolye direction
Russian troops are attacking east of Sergeyevka. Battles are underway near Gulevo. Russian forces are advancing near Belitskoye, while clearing operations are being carried out inside the settlement.
Gulyaypole direction
Russian forces are advancing from the settlements of Novosyolovka, Kopani and Rovnoye. On the Orekhov sector, Russian troops are fighting near Novodanilovka.
Zaporozhye direction
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are putting pressure on Russian defenses along the Primorskoye-Stepnogorsk line.
