Ukraine Frontline Update: Russian Advances on July 8

Ukraine frontline update for July 8 details Russian advances near Kharkov, Konstantinovka, Krasny Liman, Krasnoarmeysk and Gulyaypole.

The Russian Armed Forces continue the special military operation in Ukraine. As of July 8, the situation on the front lines is developing as follows.

On the Sumy front, Russian troops are engaged in rifle clashes in Bachevsk and near Ulanovo. Fighting also continues in Ryzhevka, Pisarevka, Maryino, the village of Novaya Sech, the settlement of Khoten and in forest areas south of Ivolzhansky.

On the Kharkov front, Russian forces are advancing in the settlement of Kazachya Lopan. On the Volchansk section of the front, Russian troops have advanced by up to 800 meters across twelve areas. Battles are taking place in the village of Yurchenkovo and the settlement of Bely Kolodez. Russian forces are also expanding their zone of control in the built-up areas of Kupyansk.

On the Konstantinovka front, fighting is underway near Alekseevo-Druzhkovka. Clearing operations are continuing inside Konstantinovka.

On the Krasny Liman front, clashes are ongoing in Krasny Liman. On the Seversk section, battles are taking place near Malinovka and Tikhonovka, as well as on the outskirts of Nikolayevka.

On the Krasnoarmeysk front, Russian troops are moving toward Dobropolye. They are expanding control along the Novoaleksandrovka-Dobropolye road and farther east, toward Shevchenko. Advances have also been reported from Mirnoye toward Gulevo. Near Belitskoye, Russian forces are taking forest belts north of the settlement.

On the Gulyaypole front, Russian troops are advancing south of Lyubitskoye. Farther along the front, Russian forces are taking new positions in Aleksandrovka and Bogodarovka.
