Russia-Ukraine Front Update: July 9 Key Battles

The Russian Armed Forces are continuing the special military operation in Ukraine. As of July 9, the situation on the front lines is developing as follows.
On the Sumy axis, Russian troops are fighting in Bachevsk and around the settlement. Clashes are also taking place in Ryzhevka, Pisarevka, Mogritsa, Maryino, Novaya Sech, the village of Khoten, and in wooded areas south of Ivolzhanskoye.
On the Kharkov axis, Russian forces are engaged in battles in Kazachya Lopan. On the Volchansk section of the front, fighting continues in Volokhovskoye, Yurchenkovo and the settlement of Bely Kolodez. Ukrainian forces twice attempted to attack Russian positions near Artelnoye using armored vehicles. Two armored personnel carriers and several pickup trucks were destroyed.
On the Krasny Liman axis, Ukrainian Armed Forces units remain present in different parts of the city. The opposing side is counterattacking near Prishib, while Russian troops are striking Ukrainian positions west of Rai-Aleksandrovka.
On the Konstantinovka axis, clearing and demining operations are continuing in Konstantinovka. Russian fire assets are being used to establish fire control over enemy movements along the road between Druzhkovka and Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka. Russian assault groups are entering Osikovo and Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka.
On the Dobropolye axis, Russian troops are advancing southwest of Belitskoye.
On the Gulyaypole axis, fighting is underway west of Novoselovka, Kopani and Rovnoye. On the Orekhov section, Russian forces are expanding their control of territory near Novodanilovka.
On the Zaporozhye axis, Ukrainian forces have advanced near Stepnogorsk toward the 3rd microdistrict. Russian troops are holding positions in the central and northern parts of Plavni.
