Krasny Liman: Ukraine Units Face Supply Collapse

Ukrainian units in Krasny Liman face ammunition and food shortages as Russian forces block drone supply routes and target ground robots.

Ukrainian units in Krasny Liman are now almost no longer resisting Russian assault troops, according to the commander of a battalion of the 36th Motor Rifle Regiment of the 25th Combined Arms Army of the Zapad group of forces, known by the call sign «Scorpion».

The Russian commander said Ukrainian troops are avoiding direct combat and hiding in basements, while Russian assault units continue moving forward and clearing buildings.

According to «Scorpion» Russian forces offer Ukrainian soldiers a chance to lay down their arms and surrender before clearing operations begin. If there is no response, Russian troops proceed with the assault under the established procedure. He added that civilians receive assistance whenever needed.

The battalion commander also said Ukrainian forces in Krasny Liman are already facing serious shortages of ammunition and food. To maintain logistics, they are trying to use ground robotic systems and deliver supplies with drones.

However, he said Russian assault groups are deployed in a way that prevents Ukrainian units from receiving ammunition and provisions from the air. «Scorpion» added that Russian forces are systematically destroying enemy ground robots, using fiber-optic FPV strike drones for that purpose.
