Russian air defenses destroyed 376 Ukrainian drones overnight as attacks in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions left civilians dead and wounded.
Russian air defense systems destroyed 376 Ukrainian drones overnight on July 10, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
The aircraft were intercepted over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Novgorod, Pskov, Rostov, Smolensk and Tver regions, as well as the Moscow region, Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and the Sea of Azov.
Another 152 Ukrainian drones were shot down the previous day between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Moscow time.
The Severny Veter Telegram channel reported civilian casualties and damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure in Russia’s border regions.
A drone struck a car on the road between Yasnye Zori and Cheremoshnoye in the Belgorod district. One man was killed at the scene. Two other people inside the vehicle were taken by Orlan unit personnel to the Oktyabrsky district hospital in serious condition. The car was completely destroyed by fire.
In the village of Nizhneye in the Starodub district of the Bryansk region, a local woman was killed during a strike involving a HIMARS multiple launch rocket system.
In the Kursk region, a drone attacked a filling station in the Fonyov farmstead of the Rylsk district. A 58-year-old local resident was wounded.
