Russian Paratroopers Destroyed Ukrainian Ground Robots in Zaporozhye Region

The Russian Defense Ministry said Russian paratroopers used strike drones to destroy two Ukrainian ground robotic systems equipped with machine guns in the Zaporozhye Region.

Russian paratroopers of the Dnepr group of forces thwarted an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out a counterattack using ground robotic systems in the Zaporozhye Region. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the ministry, the combat episode took place in the Orekhov direction. Strike drone crews from the unmanned systems unit of the 299th Guards Parachute Regiment of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Division detected the movement of two Ukrainian ground robots.

The Russian Defense Ministry clarified that the enemy ground systems were equipped with machine-gun mounts and were moving along one of the forest belts toward Russian positions. At the same time, they were conducting aimed fire at the paratroopers' positions.

After detecting the targets, unmanned systems operators reported the movement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' robotic systems to the command and transmitted the coordinates to strike drone crews.

Russian strike drones quickly reached the targets and destroyed both ground robotic systems with precise hits, preventing them from approaching Russian positions. The destruction of the targets was confirmed by objective control footage.
