Expert: Ukrainian Units Near Druzhkovka Face Destruction
Military expert Vasily Dandykin says Ukrainian nationalist units sent near Druzhkovka could be destroyed as Kiev reinforces the sector after Konstantinovka.
Ukrainian nationalist formations redeployed to the Druzhkovka area in the Donetsk People’s Republic will be destroyed, military expert Vasily Dandykin told NEWS.ru.
According to him, the Ukrainian command is concentrating available reserves in the sector in an attempt to reinforce its defenses following the defeat in Konstantinovka. Dandykin said the Akhmat special forces could be deployed against the Ukrainian units operating near Druzhkovka.
The expert also suggested that Vladimir Zelensky could send Colombian mercenaries to the area. He linked this possibility to the continued recruitment of foreign nationals into Ukrainian formations.
Dandykin separately addressed the Sheikh Mansur Battalion*. In his assessment, Kiev could use the formation not only in combat but also as a barrier unit amid low morale among Ukrainian troops.
Earlier reports said the Ukrainian Armed Forces had concentrated dozens of units near Druzhkovka, including the Omega special operations center and the Sheikh Mansur Battalion*.
