CBS Reported Ukraine Actively Uses US V-BAT Drones Against Russian Targets

CBS reported that Ukraine has begun actively using US-made V-BAT reconnaissance drones to identify targets and prepare strikes on sites inside Russia.

Ukraine has begun actively using American V-BAT reconnaissance drones to identify targets and prepare strikes on sites located on Russian territory. This was reported by CBS.

According to the channel, these are long-range drones produced by the American defense company Shield AI. The report notes that such systems have begun to play an increasingly important role in the Ukrainian campaign.

One drone operator told CBS that the focus in selecting targets is placed on sites that are expensive, strategically important, or difficult to replace.

Against this background, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov earlier pointed to the dual nature of the US position on the Ukrainian conflict. According to him, Washington, on the one hand, continues to supply weapons, but unlike other countries involved in the conflict, it still remains committed to the peace process.
