Trump Orders Unprecedented Bombing of Iran if He Is Killed

Donald Trump says he ordered unprecedented strikes on Iran if he is killed, amid reports of an alleged Iranian assassination plot against him.

US President Donald Trump said he had ordered Iran to be bombed with unprecedented force if anything happened to him. He made the statement amid reports of an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate him.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Israel shared intelligence with the United States that allegedly points to Iranian plans to kill Trump. The newspaper cited informed sources.

In an interview with the New York Post, the US president said he had left clear instructions in advance. Under those orders, if an attempt were made on his life, Iran would be subjected to bombing on a scale it had never experienced before.

Trump also said he did not regard the latest reports as evidence of a fundamentally new plot. According to him, Tehran has allegedly sought to eliminate him for many years.

Earlier, the White House chief assessed the probability of his death while serving as president at 5.2 percent. He also described himself as Iran’s number one target.
