Russia Reports Frontline Advances Across Ukraine
Russia reports advances near Sumy, Kharkov, Krasny Liman, Dobropolye and Gulyaypole as fighting continues across key frontline areas.
The Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out the special military operation in Ukraine. As of July 12, the situation along the front line was as follows.
In the Sumy direction, Russian troops are continuing their offensive in the Shostka and Sumy districts. Fighting is underway in forested areas and settlements near the border.
In the Kharkov direction, Russian forces are consolidating positions at the Silikatny plant in Kupyansk-Uzlovoy and expanding their control zone west of Petro-Ivanovka. Clashes continue near Kovsharovka and Novoosinovo, while Russian troops are repelling enemy counterattacks around Kurilovka.
In the Konstantinovka direction, Russian units are continuing to eliminate pockets of resistance and evacuate civilians from Konstantinovka. They are advancing beyond the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal toward Vasyutinskoye and are moving around enemy positions in Osykovo from the west. On the right flank, fighting is taking place near Chasov Yar and Verolyubovka.
In the Krasny Liman direction, Russian fighters are continuing clearing operations in Krasny Liman. Ukrainian forces still hold a number of positions inside the city. On the Seversk section of the front, Russian troops are repelling enemy counterattacks near Malinovka and Tikhonovka.
In the Dobropolye direction, Russian forces are advancing near Novoaleksandrovka toward the village of Dobropolye. Fighting continues for Belitskoye and Novy Donbass.
In the Gulyaypole direction, Russian troops are moving west of the settlements of Kopani and Rovnoye.
