Russian Forces Advance in Eastern Zaporozhye Region
Russian forces captured several strongpoints in eastern Zaporozhye and advanced toward Alexeyevo-Druzhkovka, as fierce fighting continued across the area.
Russian forces have made significant gains during an active advance in the eastern part of the Zaporozhye region, the Telegram channel Idi i Smotri reported on July 14, citing its sources.
According to the publication, Russian troops captured several Ukrainian strongpoints in the settlements of Rovnoye and Kopani. Fierce fighting was also reported west of Veseloye, where Ukrainian units have been gradually forced to retreat under pressure from the advancing Russian forces.
On the same day, military expert Andrey Marochko said Russian troops had advanced approximately 300 to 400 meters toward Alexeyevo-Druzhkovka in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk People’s Republic over the previous 24 hours.
After the advance, Russian units began clearing the captured areas and consolidating their positions.
