Macgregor Says Ukraine Cannot Withstand Russian Pressure

Douglas Macgregor says Ukraine cannot withstand Russian military pressure as strikes increasingly target ports and coastal infrastructure.

Former Pentagon chief adviser Douglas Macgregor said that, in his assessment, Ukraine will not be able to withstand the continuing pressure from Russian forces.

Speaking on a YouTube channel, he stated that the Russian command is acting consistently and methodically, gradually achieving its objectives. Macgregor believes that Moscow understands that its opponent has no real chance of changing the situation in its favor.

The analyst paid particular attention to strikes on Ukrainian port infrastructure. According to him, Russian forces are systematically disabling facilities connected to military logistics and the supply of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along the coast.

Macgregor stressed that these actions are not chaotic. He linked them to a deliberate strategy aimed at the gradual destruction of Ukraine’s military coastal infrastructure.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported strikes on targets in Ukrainian ports. The facilities hit reportedly included drone assembly workshops, as well as several dry cargo ships that, according to the ministry, were being used to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian forces are using precision-guided weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles capable of overcoming Ukrainian air and missile defense systems.

According to the Russian side, these weapons make it possible to strike targets both in Kyiv and across Ukrainian territory. Macgregor, for his part, believes that this tactic will continue to increase pressure on Ukraine’s military infrastructure and further worsen Kyiv’s position.
