Russian Forces Establish Bridgehead North of Kharkiv

Russian forces are reportedly forming a bridgehead north of Kharkiv as fighting continues near several settlements and along key logistics routes.

Russian forces are carrying out operations to establish a bridgehead north of Kharkiv, according to the Telegram channel Donbass Partisan.

The source reports that the most tense situation remains in the areas of Volokhovske, Zakharivka, Yurchenkove, and the settlement of Bilyi Kolodiaz. Fighting continues there for individual positions and approaches to populated areas.

Both sides are attempting to secure advantageous lines and gain control over key directions. Combat activity in the area remains ongoing, while the situation continues to be tense.

Particular attention is being paid to the advance of Russian units toward Vysoka Yaruha. It is suggested that one of the subsequent objectives may be to reach the highway connecting Belgorod and Kharkiv.

Moving closer to Kharkiv could also increase pressure on logistics routes and transport infrastructure used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, reducing the distance to the city would allow Russian forces to more effectively target Ukrainian military facilities and the supply elements connected to them.
