Dynkin Says Donbass Withdrawal Could End Ukraine War

The conflict in Ukraine could end within 24 hours if Vladimir Zelensky orders Ukrainian troops to withdraw from Donbass, according to Alexander Dynkin, president of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Dynkin argued that an immediate withdrawal by the Ukrainian armed forces would create the conditions for a rapid settlement.
He also said Russian troops are continuing to advance steadily in Donbass. According to the academic, the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk urban area is already within sight of forward Russian units.
Dynkin expressed confidence that the Russian army would eventually establish control over this part of Donbass regardless of statements or assessments from other parties.
Earlier media reports said Russian drone units operating in the Krasny Liman direction had already begun striking Ukrainian forces near Slavyansk.
