Russia Unveils Pocket FPV Drone Control Station

Drone Force Aero has developed a compact FPV drone control station with a range above 25 km, rising beyond 35 km when used with a communications relay.

Drone Force Aero has developed a compact mobile control station for FPV drones that supports flights at distances of more than 25 kilometers, company representatives said.

According to the developer, it is the smallest domestically produced ground control station of its kind currently known in Russia. Its compact size led Russian troops to nickname it the «pocket control station».

The system was designed with direct input from Russian servicemen. Troops shared their combat experience, outlined practical requirements and suggested improvements that were later incorporated into the final design.

Despite its small size, the station combines mobility, ease of use and broad compatibility. It can also operate with digital drones supplied to military units through the Russian Defense Ministry.

Drone Force Aero added that when paired with a communications relay, the control range for FPV drones increases to more than 35 kilometers. The company described these figures as strong for modern combat conditions.
