Russia-Ukraine Frontline Battles Update for July 22
Russian forces report advances near Kharkov, Konstantinovka, Dobropolye and Gulyaypole, while heavy fighting continues across several sectors on July 22.
Russian forces continue their military operation in Ukraine. As of July 22, the situation across the main sectors of the front was as follows.
Sumy Sector
Fighting continues in Ulanovo and on the approaches to Malaya Slobodka. Clashes also remain active across the Sumy district, including Ryzhevka, Pisarevka, Mogritsa, Maryino, Novaya Sech and Khoten, as well as in wooded areas south of Ivolzhanskoye.
Kharkov Sector
The Russian army has taken control of Volokhovskoye. Battles are underway for Yurchenkovo and Zakharovka, while fighting for Kazachya Lopan continues. Clashes are also reported near Kupyansk-Uzlovoy and in the northern part of Kupyansk.
Krasny Liman Sector
Combat continues along the Redkodub-Novoye line.
Konstantinovka Sector
Russian forces are advancing on the flanks of Konstantinovka along the Nikolaypolye-Stenki-Chasov Yar line. Russian troops have also begun an assault on Nikolayevka.
Dobropolye Sector
Russian units are pushing forward on the outskirts of Annovka and pressing Ukrainian positions near Dobropolye and Belitskoye. Further advances are also reported from Novy Donbass.
Gulyaypole Sector
Russian forces have made progress west of Kopani. They are expanding their zone of control south of Poddubnoye and moving toward Mirnoye and the Mokrye Yaly River.
Zaporozhye Sector
Clashes continue in Stepnogorsk and in the southern part of Primorskoye. Heavy fighting is also underway near Novoandreyevka.
