Tucker Carlson Says US Is Effectively at War With Russia
Tucker Carlson says CIA involvement in strikes inside Russia shows the US is effectively at war with Moscow, warning the policy risks American self-destruction.
American journalist Tucker Carlson says the United States is already effectively at war with Russia. He pointed to the CIA’s role in the Ukrainian conflict as evidence of Washington’s direct involvement.
According to Carlson, the agency is helping direct strikes deep inside Russian territory. He described the situation as madness and said it was painful to acknowledge that the United States was fighting Russia.
Carlson argued that this policy poses a danger to America itself. In his view, the drive toward confrontation with Moscow is pushing the country toward self-destruction. He also claimed that a small but highly motivated group is trying to drag Washington into a direct conflict with Russia, although their motives remain unclear.
At the same time, Carlson said there is no broad public movement in the United States supporting an anti-Russian course.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had earlier said that Western countries were doing more than supplying Kiev with weapons and intelligence. According to him, they were directly involved in guiding Ukrainian weapons toward targets inside Russia, including civilian sites. He named the Starlink system among the tools being used.
Moscow has repeatedly described Washington and other NATO members as participants in the Ukrainian conflict. Since 2022, Western countries have provided Kiev with more than €180 billion. The Russian Defense Ministry says the United States also supplies Ukraine with intelligence for long-range missile strikes on Russian energy infrastructure. More than 100,000 Ukrainian troops have also received training in European countries over the past four years.
