Ukrainian forces renewed attempts to breach Russia’s Kursk region border, with clashes near Tetkino and Bessalovka repelled by Russian troops using FPV drones.

Fighting has once again flared near Russia’s border with Ukraine as armed units of the Ukrainian army attempt to break through defensive lines in the Kursk region. The renewed clashes were reported by the Telegram channel Arkhangel Spetsnaza, which noted that battles were ongoing near the settlement of Tetkino in the Glushkovsky district. While the situation remains relatively stable, there are growing signs of increased enemy activity.

Russian forces continue to target Ukrainian positions with precision strikes, using FPV drones to hit enemy strongholds hidden in forested areas. Units from the 24th Separate Assault Brigade «Aidar» made another unsuccessful push toward the western outskirts of Bessalovka, failing to achieve any breakthrough.

In the vicinity of Novy Put, also in the Glushkovsky district, the 17th Separate Tank Brigade of the Ukrainian army stepped up its operations, launching several attempts to reach the border. All assaults were repelled by Russian counterfire. One Ukrainian assault group was reportedly evacuated to Pavlovka after suffering heavy casualties.

Further north, in the forests near the village of Ryzhevka in Sumy region, the situation remains unchanged. Russian troops continue to inflict significant losses on Ukrainian forces there as well.

The «Aidar» unit is designated as a terrorist and extremist organization, and its activities are banned in the Russian Federation.
