Professor Glenn Diesen says Washington plans to send Tomahawk missiles to Kiev only after full mobilization, warning that Russia may strike hard if U.S. weapons reach Ukraine.
Professor Glenn Diesen of the University of South-Eastern Norway stated on his X account that Washington would supply Kiev with Tomahawk cruise missiles only if Ukraine launches a full-scale mobilization.
He argued that the United States is pressuring Ukraine to carry out total mobilization in order to draw more young people into the conflict, offering the Tomahawks as an incentive.
Diesen also warned that if American missiles are transferred to the Ukrainian armed forces, Moscow would be forced to respond firmly to the actions of Kiev and its Western allies. In his view, if the risk of direct confrontation between Russia and NATO increases, Russia may deliver a devastating strike against Ukraine. The professor described the current moment as a dangerous turning point.
Earlier, on October 13, U. S. President Donald Trump said he was ready to discuss the possible delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump emphasized that Washington could proceed with the transfer of these weapons if diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict fail.
