Russian Forces Advance on Multiple Fronts in Ukraine

Russian forces report gains in Sumy, Kharkiv, Pokrovsk, Krasny Liman, and Kostiantynivka directions, repelling Ukrainian attacks and securing new positions.

Russian forces continue their military operation in Ukraine, with the morning of August 12 bringing fresh updates from multiple sectors of the front.

Sumy Direction
On the Tetkino and Glushkovo fronts, Ukrainian troops attempted an assault with three strike groups moving from the Ryzhivka area toward Tetkino. The attack was repelled after an exchange of small-arms fire. Russian units also fought off six counterattacks near Novokonstantinovka and Yablonovka. Reports indicate Russian assault groups have advanced into the southwestern part of Yunakivka.

Kharkiv Direction
Russian forces are pushing forward in the forested area near Synelnykove, close to Vovchansk.

Krasnoarmiysk (Pokrovsk) Direction
Russian troops are making gains near Udachne, Leontovichi, Troyanda, and Novoaleksandrovka. Heavy fighting is ongoing in Rodynske, with reports that the road linking Rodynske and Bilytske is now under Russian control.

Krasny Liman Direction
Russian units are attacking the outskirts of Seredne and Shandryholove, while clashes continue in Kolodyazi and Torske. Advancements are reported in Zarechne and on the territory of the local fishery.

Kostiantynivka Direction
Positional battles continue near Poltavka and Rusyn Yar. Intense clashes are reported in Katerynivka and Kleban-Byk. Russian forces have secured control over Aleksandro-Shultino and made limited gains near Predtechyne.
