Russian Forces Break Through to Dimitrov Outskirts

Russian forces broke through Ukrainian defenses to the eastern outskirts of Dimitrov after capturing Balagan, opening the way for further advances.

Active and coordinated actions by Russian forces have enabled them to break through to the eastern outskirts of Dimitrov (Ukr. Mirnograd), a satellite city of Krasnoarmeysk. The breach in Ukrainian defenses along the Krasnoarmeysk axis was reported by the Telegram channel Idi i smotri.

According to the channel, Russian assault groups are already engaged in combat inside the eastern part of Mirnograd itself. The operational breakthrough is directly linked to the recent capture of the village of Balagan, which opened the way for further advances.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on October 14 that Balagan had come under Russian control. The operation to secure the settlement was carried out by units of the Russian Armed Forces’ «Center» grouping.
