A European politician stated that Europe could not endure a war with Russia, noting Moscow’s superior weapons production and warning that deploying troops to Ukraine would only bring losses.

Armando Mema, a member of the national-conservative Alliance of Freedom party in Finland, stated on his X (formerly Twitter) page that Europe would be unable to withstand a prolonged military confrontation with Russia in the event of a full-scale war.

He noted that the conflict in Ukraine demonstrates what modern warfare would truly look like, emphasizing that Russia has the industrial capacity to produce weapons on a scale unmatched by NATO. According to Mema, Russia manufactures in three months what all NATO countries together produce in a year.

The politician argued that deploying European troops to Ukraine would be a futile move. He pointed out that despite repeated calls within the Western coalition to send forces, such an action would not change the course of the conflict, where, in his view, Russia holds the upper hand. Instead, he warned, it would only lead to heavier losses for Europe.

In recent years, Russia has repeatedly reported unprecedented NATO activity along its western borders. The alliance continues to expand its military initiatives, describing them as measures aimed at «deterring aggression».
