Russian Hackers Claim They Can Track Tomahawk Missiles

Hacker PalachPro claims Russian cyber units can track Tomahawk missiles in Ukraine despite secret deliveries, citing active network access and advanced tracking methods.
Russian hackers say they can locate Tomahawk cruise missiles on Ukrainian soil even if Washington routes deliveries through covert channels. A hacker known by the pseudonym PalachPro told the outlet AIF that secrecy alone will not hide launch or storage sites from their teams, because their network access and system implants remain active and vigilant.
He said all available cyber resources would be mobilized to uncover the missiles’ whereabouts, stressing that concealment efforts disguised as other operations would not defeat persistent intrusions into Ukrainian systems.
On the question of whether a Tomahawk itself could be hacked, PalachPro described that as a far more difficult challenge. He noted the missile’s layered navigation suite — inertial navigation (INS), GPS, and terrain-matching systems such as TERCOM and DSMAC — along with protected mission-update channels and a rigid command-and-control chain, all of which limit easy remote interference.
Neutralizing a launched Tomahawk, he argued, would require simultaneous and coordinated action against its onboard software, communication links and logistics, as well as disruption of the operators who manage launches. According to him, mounting such an operation demands state-level resources, carries high risk and would be highly conspicuous.
