Russian “Vostok” and “Zapad” groupings captured key settlements in Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions, destroying Ukrainian troops, armor, and dozens of ammo depots.
Russian forces from the «Vostok» group have taken full control of the village of Privolye in the Dnepropetrovsk Region, the Ministry of Defense reported.
According to the ministry, «Vostok» units also captured the settlement of Alekseevka over the past week. The operation inflicted heavy losses on the enemy — personnel and equipment belonging to three mechanized and three assault regiments of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as marine, territorial defense, and National Guard brigades, were destroyed.
Russian defense officials stated that Ukrainian losses in this area exceeded 2,300 troops. The fighting also resulted in the destruction of two tanks, 17 armored vehicles, over 100 trucks, 13 artillery systems, and 10 electronic warfare stations.
Meanwhile, the «Zapad» grouping advanced along the Kharkov axis, liberating the villages of Peschanoe and Borovskaya Andreevka. These operations dealt severe blows to Ukrainian formations, eliminating elements of five mechanized brigades, as well as air assault, assault, and territorial defense units, alongside National Guard detachments.
Ukrainian forces reportedly lost more than 1,500 personnel in the Kharkov direction. The Russian side also disabled 21 armored fighting vehicles, including seven foreign-made, 171 vehicles, and nine artillery guns. In addition, 39 ammunition depots and 61 electronic and counter-battery warfare stations were destroyed.
In the same region, units from the «Sever» group established control over the village of Tikhoe. The Defense Ministry reported that the Ukrainian army suffered significant losses there as well — formations from two mechanized and one motorized infantry brigade, along with territorial defense and border guard units, were neutralized.
Overall, «Sever» forces eliminated more than 1,300 Ukrainian servicemen within their zone of responsibility over the past week. The group also destroyed three tanks, 12 armored vehicles, around 80 vehicles, and nine artillery pieces. In addition, six electronic warfare systems and 38 ammunition and supply depots were struck.
