Russia’s Defense Ministry reports strikes on Ukraine’s energy and transport infrastructure supporting its defense industry, destroying depots and UAV storage sites.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces carried out precision strikes targeting energy infrastructure facilities that supply power to Ukraine’s military-industrial complex (MIC).
According to the ministry, the strikes hit key energy installations that supported Ukrainian defense enterprises, as well as transport infrastructure used for military purposes. In addition, the attacks destroyed ammunition depots, storage sites for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and temporary deployment points of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) units and foreign mercenaries across 145 locations in Ukraine.
The ministry stated that operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile forces, and artillery units were involved in the attacks.
Since the start of the special military operation, Russian forces have reportedly destroyed 667 Ukrainian aircraft, 283 helicopters, 90,281 drones, 632 surface-to-air missile systems, 25,518 tanks and other armored vehicles, 1,600 multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) vehicles, 30,478 field artillery guns and mortars, and 44,011 units of special military automotive equipment.
The Russian Defense Ministry emphasized that the strikes were carried out on carefully verified targets, aiming to undermine Ukraine’s military potential and disrupt the operation of its defense industry.
