Russia’s Defense Ministry reports seven Ukrainian drones shot down overnight over Crimea, Bryansk, Lipetsk, and Ulyanovsk Regions with no damage or injuries.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces intercepted a new wave of Ukrainian drone attacks overnight on October 20. According to the ministry, seven fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in several regions of the country.

Three drones were shot down over Crimea, two more were intercepted in the skies above Bryansk Region, and one each over Lipetsk and Ulyanovsk Regions.

All aerial targets were successfully neutralized, the ministry stated. There were no reports of casualties or damage on Russian territory.

Ukrainian forces continue their daily attempts to strike Russian border and central regions using fixed-wing kamikaze drones. Russian air defense systems routinely detect and destroy the majority of these incoming targets before they can reach their objectives.
